The “Healthy Lifestyle” program aims to provide mobile integrated care for childhood obesity. By using the mHealth tool, research participants can remotely track progress on goals, enter weight and height, and message their care team. It also includes access to educational materials, like videos, articles, PDFs and community resources. I worked with the research team to develop interactive prototypes and plan usability testing. We tested the first prototype with Spanish-speaking families to identify areas for improvement. After incorporating their feedback, we tested a revised prototype with English-speaking families to validate the UI design. The development team built the tool in 2023, and the research study is currently under way.
